HOW TO TAKE VIAGRA
You’ve talked to your doctor. You’ve filled your prescription. Now, here are some tips to help you get the most out of VIAGRA (sildenafil citrate):
WHEN TAKING VIAGRA, KEEP IN MIND:
1
You must be SEXUALLY STIMULATED for VIAGRA (sildenafil citrate) to work. You will not get an erection just by taking this medicine.
2
Take VIAGRA ABOUT 1 HOUR BEFORE SEXUAL ACTIVITY. However, you may take it between 30 minutes to 4 hours before sexual activity
if needed.
3
After sex, your erection should go away. In the rare event of an erection lasting more than 4 hours, SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL HELP to avoid long-term injury.
4
VIAGRA can be taken with or without food. If you take VIAGRA AFTER A HIGH FAT MEAL (such as a cheeseburger and french fries), it may take a little longer to start working.
5
VIAGRA DOES NOT PROTECT YOU OR YOUR PARTNER FROM GETTING SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES, including HIV—the virus that causes AIDS.
Do not take VIAGRA more than once a day. Be sure to follow your doctor's advice.
